What is your favorite destination?
For me, nothing beats a Walt Disney World vacation with my husband and three kids!
What itinerary do you enjoy planning for clients?
I specialize in park touring plans and have first-hand knowledge of
almost all of the Walt Disney Resort properties, and good neighbor
properties, as well. I love planning Disney vacations of any sort for my
clients and their families, but Walt Disney World Florida is my
absolute favorite itinerary to plan.
What was your most memorable travel experience?
One of my most memorable travel experiences also took place in Orlando
at Sea World's Discovery Cove. The theme park has a stunning beach
resort theme and I was blown away by the beauty and by how relaxing it
actually was. The dolphin encounter was more immersive than I had
imagined and was a memorable experience, but there is so much more to do
in this park. You could spend an entire day there and still want to go
back again. Oh, and as far as quick-service theme park food goes, this
is the best!
What is the most interesting/exotic locale you’ve visited?
Years ago, three generations of my family took a two-week vacation
together on a Royal Caribbean Cruise to the Panama Canal. The trip was a
perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and we made priceless
memories!
What hotel could you revisit over and over again?
The Four Seasons Walt Disney World is my favorite resort. The resort
itself is a destination. The restaurants are fantastic and the views of
the Disney Parks are the best in all of Orlando.
What’s on your travel “wish list”?
I can not wait to cross an adventure through India off my bucket list!
If I had an unlimited budget, I’d…
...take my family on a National Geographic cruise to the Galápagos Islands.
When traveling, what can’t you leave home without?
A fully charged phone and a backup battery to charge my electronic devices.
What was your most memorable meal while traveling?
Two entirely different experiences come to mind when I think of my
favorite meal while traveling. One of my favorite cities to visit is
Portland, Oregon. My husband and I have had so many delicious meals
while there. My favorite was Mother's Bistro. Each month, this
restaurant chooses a different local mother's recipe of a traditional
home-cooked favorite and features it on their menu along with the story
behind the woman and the meal she chose. Everything is cooked from
scratch and the restaurant is decorated to look like a cozy home. My
other favorite experience was the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue that my
family and I went to on our last Disney vacation. The dinner show is a
memory our family often looks back on with great affection, and we can't
wait to do it again!
