Access to and use of the services of Gateway Travel Service, Inc. and our website is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions. By accessing, using or obtaining any content, product, or services through our office or website, you, the consumer, agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms you may choose to not use this website or Gateway Travel Service services.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I express my understanding of, and agreement to, the Terms and Conditions noted below as well as any terms and conditions that Gateway Travel may have separately provided to me. These terms and conditions may be amended or supplemented by Gateway Travel sending to clients written updated and amended terms and conditions.

I understand that Gateway Travel Service, Inc. is not the source or supplier of the travel services shown on this website and has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party website or service, and agree to not hold Gateway Travel Service Inc. responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me/us any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

I acknowledge the use of this website is at my own risk. The content provided is “as is''. Gateway Travel Service does not warrant that this website is error-free or free from viruses or other harmful elements. Gateway Travel Service assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in such content.

I accept that Gateway Travel Service, Inc. is not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage or loss I or the travelers included in my party may suffer on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control. I further understand and acknowledge that travel to many parts of the world may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to my health and/or safety, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, social or labor unrest and warfare. By booking travel arrangements or accommodations, I and the travelers included in my party voluntarily assume all risks involved with such travel whether expected or unexpected. Because each traveler’s risk tolerance is different, Gateway Travel is not in a position to advise me whether I should travel to any particular place at any particular time. Rather, to assist me in making an informed decision. I should refer to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (www.travel.state.gov ).

I understand that the airline tickets, air tours or other products I may purchase are subject to potential supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by Gateway Travel Service, Inc. to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, and fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase price increases and authorize Gateway Travel to charge my credit card for such additional amounts.

SERVICE FEES

Gateway Travel provides a one-of-a-kind customized trip planning service. Our advisors offer a wealth of expertise and knowledge, including specifics on destinations, air travel, and exclusive access to a network of luxury partners; therefore, a professional service fee will be charged for the advisor’s time and knowledge. Charges are based on the complexity and type of travel and will be explained prior to your commitment.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE

Gateway Travel Service, Inc. strongly recommends that I pay for all travel services by credit card since credit card companies provide the best possible form of consumer protection against the loss of funds due to supplier bankruptcy and or default.

I understand that whether I pay by credit card, cash, check, or debit card Gateway Travel Service, Inc. will not be held financially liable for the failure of a travel supplier to completely provide their services to me, whether due to weather, labor problems, mechanical issues, terrorism, diseases, political unrest, governmental rulings, acts of war, pandemics, careless actions, cessation of services or other unforeseen circumstances.

TRAVEL PROTECTION/INSURANCE

While no travel insurance company can cover all circumstances, I understand that Gateway Travel Service, Inc. strongly recommends that I purchase a travel insurance policy to cover certain risks inherent in travel, such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or a personal emergency. I understand that it is my responsibility to clearly understand the coverages of the travel protection plan and if I have any questions, I may contact the travel insurance company directly for clarification. I also acknowledge that Gateway Travel Service, Inc. cannot guarantee coverage and has no authority or accountability for the approval or denial of a claim.

Important: If I do not elect to purchase travel insurance, I understand that I am responsible for all charges (including, but not limited to, loss of trip cost, additional cancellation fees/penalties, trip interruption costs, lost baggage costs and medical expenses incurred during travel) regardless of the reasons a trip is not taken.

FORCE MAJEURE

As in the extreme case of any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Gateway Travel Service (such as, but without limitation, pandemic, government action, acts of God, fire or accident, war of threat of war declared or undeclared, acts of terrorism, civil disturbance, riots, labor strikes, quarantine, defect in machinery or vehicles), I acknowledge that for this reason, and other reasons not reasonably foreseeable at this time, travel plans may be interrupted or cancelled by the supplier that is providing them, a government entity or other third party over which Gateway Travel has no control. I further acknowledge that the supplier’s own and Gateway Travel’s own cancellation, rebooking and refund policies, subject to any applicable law that is now or may later be in effect, will govern my rights and remedies, including my right to receive a refund, in such an event. Moreover, I understand that should I elect to purchase travel insurance, the terms of the policy will dictate whether, and to what extent, coverage for any financial loss may exist under the circumstances. I hereby agree to hold Gateway Travel harmless and release it from any and all liability for any damages, including but not limited to monetary losses, I may incur as a result of such interruption or cancellation of these travel plans.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

I understand when traveling domestically, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advise that everyone carry at least two forms of acceptable identification in order to board a flight, and further acknowledge that beginning on October 1, 2020, I must present a driver’s license or another form of identification that complies with the requirements of the Federal Real ID Act. I understand that when traveling internationally a valid Passport, with the appropriate number of blank visa/stamp pages, is required and the expiration date should be at least 6 months following the return date of my trip. In addition, certain countries may require a Visa and or specific health vaccinations to gain entry. I acknowledge that I am responsible to attain in a timely manner any additional specific entry requirements and assure my passports meets all requirements. It is suggested that I seek advice from my personal physician regarding the benefits and risks of the required or advised vaccinations/inoculations. I understand even with valid documentation, a traveler may be denied entry into a country since the final decision rests with the local immigration and boarder officials. Several factors including past criminal record may contribute to the decision of the local immigration official(s). Should a visa or entry not be granted, Gateway Travel is not responsible for lost payments made toward the contemplated trip. If traveling to or through Canada, travelers with a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or other conviction records, should always check whether current rules exclude admission, and for potential waivers. Gateway Travel feels it is an invasion of privacy to make such an inquiry.
