About Me:
Besides having a degree in Accounting, I graduated from the Travel
Education Institute. Both credentials help me understand the travel
business and its specialized accounting practices. I’m responsible for
all accounting and financial aspects of Gateway Travel’s back office
operations.
What was your most memorable travel experience?
A week in Orlando at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. It was a
great family vacation with my husband Dennis, my son Kyle, my
daughter-in-law Stephanie, and my daughter Nicole. We stayed on-site at
the newly renovated Virtuoso property, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. There
is so much to do both day and night in the parks, featuring Harry Potter
attractions and Hogwarts Express train, along with Minion Mayhem. City
Walk has a lot to offer including a fabulous Blue Man Group show. My
husband and I even got treated to a wonderful anniversary dinner from
Kyle, Stephanie, and Nicole at the delicious Portofino Bay Hotel's
on-site restaurant, Bice. That beautiful family time will always be a
great lifetime memory.
What city could you revisit over and over again?
Sedona. There is something special about the red rock mountains and the
feeling of a whole different place. I never tire of exploring the paths
along the red rocks or the forests all around. There is a rejuvenation
that is experienced with each visit.
What’s on your travel “wish list”?
An extensive African safari, Australia and New Zealand.
Any “words of wisdom” you’ve learned along the way?
Pack your patience. You never know what lies in the road ahead. Every
trip is a new adventure no matter how many times you’ve been there
before.
