I've been in the travel business for 27 years and with Gateway Travel since 2001. Prior to working with Gateway Travel, I worked at Book Couzens until the two companies merged. My job as a travel consultant is to find the vacation and sometimes the destination that will fit the clients' personality and needs. I also have to steer them away from destinations that they think they will like and explain to them why it is not a good choice, either due to the time of year of the destination itself.

I always call the client once they return from a trip to be sure they enjoyed themselves and to hear any recommendations they have to pass on to future visitors.

Some of my most memorable trips include flying to Rome with Mother Terersa, white water rafting on the Colorado River, and many rounds of golf on some of the most beautiful courses in California, Florda, and from the Border of Texas to the UP of Michigan.
